One of the surprising things about Porygon is the low number of art pieces that are available from the last month on dA.  I thought that Porygon would be much more loved by the community of artist, but as a ‘non artist,’ what do I know?  Here’s two from the past month, and two from the all time favs on dA

Eevee and Porygon by purplekecleon

First, look closely.  That’s a disk drive, where you put optical disks in.  What’s an optical disk?  Not sure myself, but I hear that was the rage when Porygon was first on the scene.  :)  Jokes aside, this piece is probably the pinnacle of all Porygon drawings, simply because of the beauty and simplicity of the design and the idea.

Porygon papercraft by TimBauer92

Continuing on the scene with Porygon and compact discs, this papercraft looks really neat!

Pokemon as characters from other games by Lucky-Jacky

Moving on to the newer art pieces, if you follow my art + pokemon of the week, you’ll know that I enjoy cross polination.  and what better way to cross pollinate than to combine Super Mario 64 and Porygon.  Of course they go together, almost too well in my opinion!

Fly Me to the Moon by piratesduciel

Lastly, we come back to end this feature with just a lovely, heart warming piece of art.  Fly Me to the Moon is just a great piece of art with lovely colors and a heart warming ‘Happy Holidays.’  Sometimes, even seismic toss can be out of love!
