It’s time to explore sky, darkness, and (er) time with right here with the Sky Jukebox!
This week, as you might have guessed from my cheesy intro, we’re highlighting a remix from the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games. It comes to us from Youtube Remixer Dagust, entitled “Memories”. Plug in those headphones and jump on inside—this one’s full of energy!
There are several things I like about this song: first, it’s fast-paced and bright. Listening to it really is energizing—almost makes you want to pin on your Exploration Team pin and go exploring, doesn’t it? No? Well, maybe next time. So besides that, I found the combination of piano and 8-bit sounds to be quite interesting, and I think it adds to the piece’s light-heartedness.
