How goes it, PxR? Did you miss my articles? Good, because I’m back! Here’s my latest endeavor! It’s called ‘The 721‘. Why is it called that? Because there’s 721 Pokémon! What is the project? The idea is to create a banner/tag for every single one of them! I know, that sounds insane, right? But I don’t expect to finish it in a day. I also don’t plan on doing this mad endeavor all by myself. I also have the wonderful Braixen at my side to help out. But there’s someone else helping me. Click read more to find out who it is!
The other person helping me.. is YOU! Or at least I hope you will. See there’s just no way I can create a banner for all 721 Pokémon all by myself, I’m gonna need some help. Therefore, if you enjoy graphics and making banners, go ahead and sign up for the project in the link at the bottom of this article. There’s also a link in the image at the start of the post.
Let me explain a few details before you decided to hop on board. Your banners can’t be bigger than 500 pixels wide by 250 pixels high. Keep that in mind when you start making those huge page stretchers you like so much. Another thing, is that you can only submit 3 banners per day. This prevents you from getting sloppy and making messy banners to put on display.
I should probably tell you that you can’t just do any old Pokémon. Since we’re just starting out, I’m only allowing people to work on Kanto Pokémon, or Generation 1. The original 151. Bulbasaur to Mew. When we’re done we’ll move on to Johto, and so on. You’re also only able to reserve 3 Pokémon at a time. This will balance out the submissions and requests, and make it a little easier on the leaders who have to update everything on the front page.
You won’t be able to include Mega Evolutions or Primal Forms for your banners. Sorry, but it’s true. You’ll have to read up on the thread as to why, but I assure you I’m not outright forbidding the use of Mega Pokémon. Just a fun little.. reward? For working so hard on the project. So if you’re curious, I would suggest clicking on the link just below. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to your participation!
