Art Review – kawaii all around

Oh my.  I just noticed the Pichu pumping up the balloons now.  Welcome to my art review of the week, where I show you… the kawaii of this.  Please Selphy6, can we have more balloons like this?  Or… can someone craft a balloon like that in real life?  I want some for my office!  And it’ll be even better if the faces change as the Pokemon becomes more… bloated…

This piece I think shows a lovely Sandslash that could be in your porcupine cage!  awww… so cute… “STOP DIGGING THROUGH MY FLOOR BOARD SANDY!”  Otherwise, I enjoy the soft colors of this piece and a portrayal of a ‘mean lookin’ Pokemon in a nice light!

Kawaii is the theme, right?  I like the playful nature of Raichu, or Mega Raichu in this one.  This is definately a Fake-mon until it becomes real(-mon).  For all you disbelievers (this’ll ruin Pokemon!), Pokemon 151+ didn’t ruin it (or did, however you want to look at it), and we still keep on playing.  Plus, this lets you fake-mon so many more Pokemon now!  Someone needs to do a fake-mon of Mega Bibarel.  Can do all the HM’s at once!

Lastly, we come to Pokemon PopTart.  Or popart.  Who knows?  Who cares?  This is just adorable and remind me Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom.  The coloring is just as playful as the entire piece.
