Scizor

~Worth-Noting

Here’s me getting my Pokémon biased out of the way. Scizor is undoubtedly my favorite Pokémon. When it comes to my favorites, I’m very picky about how art concerning them should turn out. When it comes to this particular art style, it’s hard to use sporadic lines like this, and really pull it off. I think this extreme style really pops, and it really just gives a new perspective on Scizor. It’s so intense, so scary in a sense. It’s truly awesome. The thick outlines adding to the intensity of the pose, and the hectic swirls in the background. It all flows perfectly without flowing at all. I feel that this is a very nice piece, and with my wide eye for art, you can expect me to keep coming on with even more and different pieces.

Speed Painting

~SwinginNippon

This is what I mean. Completely different, but still awesome! Now this is a speed painting, which means the artist did this fairly quick, with a time limit. Not an extreme amount of effort is put into it. But, still enough that it still looks nice. I applaud those who do the speed paintings and still manage to make them look good. I know I sure can’t do it. Now with this, it isn’t NEARLY as chaotic with its lines as it was with Scizor. The brush strokes, you could say, add to the softness and gentle nature of the photo in its entirety. I don’t know how much time this person allotted themselves, but the anatomical accuracy is spot on. With speed painting being designed to test the skills of the artist, I don’t think it’s any question that this artist is indeed skilled!

That covers today’s art show! Check back in on Tuesday to see my next post! Don’t forget to comment below, and tell me what you think!
