The shadows are burning and you can see for yourself this weekend! By attending a prerelease!
Burning Shadows Prereleases start this weekend! You can play with new cards from the upcoming TCG set starting this weekend! This weekend is the perfect chance to visit a card shop to take part in a Burning Shadows prerelease. These prereleases will take part during the weekends of July July 22–23 and 29–30.
Everybody who attends a prerelease will be given a prerelease kit that contains the following: 22 Evolution pack, an exclusive foil promo card, and four booster packs from the Sun & Moon—Burning Shadows expansion.
Each player will be given time to build a 40 card deck with the cards they pulled and the Evolution pack. Lastly, you will get to play three rounds with the 40 card deck that you created. This will give you a chance to play with the new cards from Burning Shadows such as Necrozma GX, Marshadow GX, and Tapu Fini GX.
There will be four possible promo cards that players can receive: Seviper, Crabominable, Zygarde and Bewear.
The best card out of the four is Crabominable. It can do 80 damage for a single energy. That is a lot of damage for simply one energy. Seviper could be quite useful in a prerelease format. It is able to poison your opponent’s Pokemon and put more poison damage thanks to Seviper’s ability.
