Are you ready to see the Pokemon TCG evolve their game? Are you ready to evolve you skill? Old cards become new again as Evolutions will be hitting stores!
Evolutions is a celebration of 20 years of the Pokemon TCG. This set is bringing back plenty of old favorites from Base Set with tons of updates to make them stand up to some of the fierce cards of today. Evolutions is based on the Japanese 20th Anniversary Set.
This expansion brings cards like M Venusaur EX, M Charizard EX, and M Blastoise EX. Further new additions include Slowbro-EX and Pidgeot-EX and their Mega Evolutions, as well as Mewtwo-EX and Dragonite-EX. Finally, four new BREAK cards will debut, including Nintetales BREAK, Machamp BREAK, Starmie BREAK, and Nidoking BREAK. What is even more fun about this set is that all the EX cards have retro looks to make it appear as if they were release back in 1996. Evolutions will also feature the first time Spirit Links will be printed for M Venusaur EX, M Charizard EX, and M Blastoise EX.
Evolutions will be unique as it will be released early in several retailers prior to the official street date. Participating Toys”R”Us stores will be able to release the set on October 30th. Meanwhile, hobby shops and Gamestop locations will be able to sell Evolutions on October 31st. All other retailers will be able to sell this set on November 2nd.
Preleases for Evolutions will start on October 22nd.
