Gallow brought Rose's fainted Pokemon over. Rose thanked the flying type and called all three back to their Pokeballs. Then some stuff happened and Rose ended up getting flown over to Alice and the others because reasons ((In other words, I'm too lazy to write about this part)) She wasn't sure what had happened at first, but then she heard Alice greet her and she knew where Gallow had taken her. "I wish I had... but I can't see anything right now." She explained. She was still in shock from what had just happened. She was going to tell the others what Max had told her, but now was not the time. She was exhausted, and without Amirah, she felt completely useless again.

They reached the dock a while later. "Alice?" Rose questioned. She felt guilty to be asking her for help for what felt like the millionth time that day. "Can you help me?" She asked. She might not have been able to see anything, but at least they were safe. They were offered blankets and hot drinks, and Rose took one of each. She was still wearing the dress she had gotten on the ship, but she imagined now that it was completely ruined. She took a sip of the drink, but although she really should have been, she didn't feel very thirsty. She wrapped the blanket around her and hoped that they could get to a Pokemon Center soon. She knew that her conversation with Max wasn't something she could just sleep off though.

"Alice? Can you help me?" Alice heard Rose speaking from behind her.

"Oh! I'm so sorry, Rose," Alice replied. It was easy to forget that Rose couldn't see sometimes since she was always accompanied by her Chingling. Alice hadn't even realised for days when they had first met. Alice looped her arm through Rose's. "Are you feeling okay?" she asked. She wasn't sure what had happened on the ship or where Dredd had gone or what Rose had been through. But she was glad to see her in one piece.

Alice noticed the rocket girl nearby. "Is… is anyone unaccounted for?" she asked quietly.

"Um, just Meg I think," Alice replied. She was still wary of this trainer. They hadn't had a chance to discuss anything yet. But Meg had trusted her, so Alice chose to trust her now. "Glad you're okay," she said, smiling in a friendly way.

"Don't be. I'm the one that should be sorry." Rose replied to Alice. She felt Alice loop her arm through hers. "Thank you." She said.

"Are you feeling okay?" Alice questioned. Rose wasn't sure how she should answer.

"That depends on what you mean by 'okay.'" She explained. She didn't feel like she had been badly injured, but emotionally she felt pretty beaten up. Alice spoke to Kyo, reminding Rose that she still owed Kyo an explanation. But that was something for the morning (Not realizing that it was already four in the morning). For now, all Rose wanted to do was to get her Pokemon to a Pokemon Center. As much as she may have wanted to sleep though, she wasn't sure she would be able to at all. Especially not when she was worrying about Meghan.

Max had told her not to blame herself, but how could she not? If she hadn't destroyed the gem, things could have been much worse, but the fact still remains that she caused the ship to break in half. Then there was what Dredd had said about finding them because of her. Was this the best outcome that she could have hoped for? It didn't feel like it.

Officer Jenny brought the team to Gem Isle dock. There the team was greeted by her officers with blankets and hot coco. After which they were escorted to the police station where there were beds set up for them. There the team was given space to rest. Before that happened however nurses checked out the group. Stacy stayed right next to Ty the rest of the night and fell asleep next to his bed.

Kaze and Gallow stuck close to others until they were safe. After that the two pokemon headed back out with Reese to keep looking for Meghan.

Alright people finally bed time when eveyrone wakes back up they are at the police station and its 10 am the next day. Pokemon have been healed overnight.

Meanwhile

Kiara didnt seem to comfortable with any of this but agreed to help Meghan reach docks to see if her friends were there. As they walked through the woods Meghan instinctively wanted to move faster but had no idea where she was. Meghan tried to spark up a conversation with this trainer but felt like more of a burden then anything else. It was curious that the trainer had kept her whole team out with her. They moved as a unit kind of like Brandon in a way. Meghan thought and smiled a little.

Meghan took the time to get to know this new temporary pokemon.
"Im Meghan." she smiled at the little bat.

"It looks like you met Bubbles and Reine already...but you havent met the others." Meghan said releasing Pidgeot, Crobat and Honedge.

Meghan looked over at Kiara.
"These are my pokemon...well most of them at least. My friends Gallow and Kaze are with my friends."

Sting flew over to check out Kiaras Golbat.

"Cro crobat!" The evolved pokemon said happy to see another of its type.

"And you are?" Meghan said looking back at Noibat.
"Noi?" The happy but shy bat said covering its eyes.

Meghan smiled
"its nice to meet you Noi. We are going to get you back to your partner. I promise."

Rocky woke to various aches and pains. He groaned as he rolled over to see what time it was. He ad slept in until 10 am, that was unlike him. Why was he so tired? The events of the night before hit him like a runaway truck.

He reached down to his belt. Only 3 Pokeballs. He opened them. Pokeball one was Speedy, who ran around searching for food. Pokeball two released Deino who sat where she was released sniffing at the air. Pokeball 3 released the Tentacool that Rocky had caught. It flopped around on te floor, a mass of blue and red jelly with flailing tentacles. Rocky returned it to its ball quickly.

He wanted to study this Tentacool that Dredd had been controlling to see if there was any lingering shadow infection it but that could wait. He turned to call his other Pokemon back. Deino was sitting on the floor alone, and Speedy was nowhere to be seen.

"Deino, Return. Speedy where are you?" he called out.

Speedy ran back to the cell with his cheeks bulging and crumbs covering his lips. "RurTrrtrr!" Speedy said.

"I see you found the Police station's food supply. I hope you left some for the rest of us!" Rocky said smiling at the felonious little Rattata.

"Speedy swallowed. "Rattata, Rata rata rat rat tata!" He said excitedly as he climbed up to sit on Rocky's shoulder.

Rocky went to the other trainers to make sure that they were uninjured. They were sleeping, so Rocky waited quietly until they woke. They would need their sleep. They had to find Meg, and explain to the Police what had happened on the ship.

"That depends on what you mean by 'okay.'" Rose replied. She seemed exhausted. Alice wasn't sure what exactly Rose had been through, but she decided not to ask any more questions tonight. They all needed a good sleep.

Once they were escorted to their beds in the police station, Alice fell asleep almost immediately after being checked over by a nurse. She returned Plume to her Pokeball and hugged her bag close. She was glad to have most of her Pokemon back. Now they just had to find the other ones that Surge had taken...

When Alice woke up the next morning, Rocky was already awake. "Hey," Alice smiled sleepily, propping herself up on one arm. Her hair curled and messy around her head from the salty water. "I can't believe we escaped again..." she said, yawning. "We either have the worst luck or the best. Sometimes I'm sure there must be something looking out for us, you know?" Alice slowly climbed out of the blankets, running a hand through her messy hair.

"Oh, you found Speedy!" Alice said happily, noticing the Rattata on Rocky's shoulder. She noticed the 3 lone Pokeballs on Rocky's belt. it seemed not everyone had been lucky enough to recover all their lost Pokemon. Alice thought about all the Pokeballs she had had to leave floating on the ocean. What if some of them belonged to Rocky? She wished she could have saved them all. But surely the recovery team would have collected them all by now... Still, she felt terrible for leaving them. "I hope Meg's alright," Alice said, instead.

She tapped her Poketech. It still seemed to be working, somehow. She had set it to record while they were on the ship, hoping that she could get some evidence to clear their names. She hoped the recording had been saved and that she would be able to show the police.

Stacy and Ty met the others outside the police station. Ty had a couple of new bandages and groaned as he walked
" My back is swore, my arm is swore..even poor Pikachu is swore." He said watching his shuffle behind him.

When the whole team was up they were escorted to a police van.
" Officer Jenny couldn't come to send you off. We have recovered a good number of missing pokemon and with all the mix up of pokeballs in the sea we need to have all pokemon checked at the pokemon center. Sorry, but as at least two of you returned with pokeballs we need to make sure we get a accurate count of all pokemon missing. Also there is a good chance if you are missing pokemon that you can recover them there." The cop lead them to a van and let them jump in.

"We will be taken statements at the pokemon center." He said jumping in.

As they team headed towards the pokemon center Alice tried look for the footage. When she was able to get to some of the video files she was shocked to see that most of the footage was of the wall. She did however catch the men dressed like waiters running around and parts of a battle.To her amazement she also found the footage of the attack in the room and she saw Kaze saving them with the hyper beam. Most of the footage was to scrambled to see.

When the team arrived at the pokemon center. They noticed the line of trainers being interviewed. The officer brougth them to one of the lines and then waved goodbye. As he walked away he picked up a walkie

" yes ma'am....I am on my way. Should I get the electric proof shields ?...no, I mean if its Surge...Yes I know you didnt say it was Surge but it could be right!" He said running to the van and driving off.

"Oh, you found Speedy!" Alice said as she woke up. Speedy was happy to be acknowledged and ran circles around the the room in his excitement.

"Yes and little felon has already raided the Police station food supply! I hope we don't get in trouble because of Speedy stealing stuff."

Speedy stopped running around the room and crossed his arms and glared at Rocky. "Rattata, rat Ratta rat ta ta Rat!" he said sternly.

"Oh, you did too! And you know it!" replied to the Rattata.

Speedy gave a great big toothy grin and and laughed proud agreement. "Rat rat rat Rattata!" and continued to run around and check to see if anyone else had any food.

They were taken by van to the Pokemon center to give statements and get a thorough count of missing Pokemon. Rocky hoped that he would finally be reunited with his lost Pokemon. Alice had recorded some of last night's encounter and was going through the footage. Hopefully she had enough to prove that this time it definitely wasn't their fault!

When they arrived at the Pokemon center they got into a line to give their statement and register for lost Pokemon. Rocky also needed to try to find Deino's trainer. He was sure that someone was missing the bitey little thing.

A police officer jumped into a van and drove off, Rocky overheard him say something about Surge. He looked longingly atthe van as it drove off. He would love to find Surge and deliver a foot sized bruise to the gym leader's buttocks. Right now though he needed to help with the lost Pokemon drive.

While he stood in line he remembered officer Mills. He should give him an update. He turned to the other trainers to get their opinions. "Hey, Team! I think we should give officer Mills an update on how the mission to track down the Pokemon is going."

Contrary to Rose's expectations, she fell asleep quickly that night. She released Amirah hoping that she would be okay by the morning.

She woke up suddenly the next morning. She felt like she had just had a very bad dream. She couldn't remember any details, but Max's voice echoed in her head. "Whatever Dredd is, it can only be stopped one way. No matter what I say or how I say it we both know what that is." A single tear dripped down from her eye. As she wiped it off with her hand, she heard a familiar chime near her. Her surroundings came into focus.

"Amirah..." Rose said softly. The psychic type's chime had always made her feel better before, but there was no one who could make her feel better now. She knew she was going to have to tell the others what Max had told her, but she refused to accept that there was no way to save him. She quickly got dressed and went out to join the rest of the group. She tried her best to hide the fact that she was so upset, but she wasn't very convincing. She stayed even more silent than usual.

She walked with the group quietly. "Hey, Team! I think we should give officer Mills an update on how the mission to track down the Pokemon is going." Rocky commented. Rose thought that this would probably be a good idea, but she didn't say anything.

Rocky suggested they contact Mills. Alice definitely agreed. He should hear what happened from them first.

"Here I'll forward you the recording. It's not the best but you can see that we were attacked and Kaze saving us. If you attach it to the message, hopefully it will be enough to show that we aren't to blame." Alice sent the file to Rocky's Poketech. "Probably good to have a backup too," she said.
