Where I'm from, we say all pirates are filthy scoundrels. Both accurate and amusing, I would say.

What is happiness?
It's being called by someone
It's being able to call someone
It's when someone is thinking of you
But Heaven has none of this
A lizard girl took pity on God
So the lizard girl tore God in two and brought a half from Heaven to Earth
I was in Canada once, but only on the very edge of Ontario near Niagara Falls. From what I've seen, it seems like a nice place with friendly people. Didn't notice any accents though.
We generally have similar accents to northeast states. It's like how our (as in northeast states) accents are totally different from the southern states. Also it does help that many on both sides of the border have relatives on both sides of the border.

I really like British accents. I wish I had one. They sound so sophisticated.
-an Englishman comes trolling in-
Which British accent would you be talking about? :P
I assume you mean Received Pronunciation, which is the standard accent for the south of England and, generally speaking, the one most commonly portrayed in films and media.
But that's ignoring Scottish, Welsh, Northern Irish, Cockney (East London), Scouser (Liverpool), Geordie (Newcastle), West-country (...the West-country), and so many many more.
Watch this video, if you have about five minutes. She'll take you on a tour :P
My particular accent, if anybody was interested (which I know you're not), is just standard RP with a touch of Janner creeping in. Janner, which is the accent of people in and around Plymouth, sounds something like this (yes, that is a real football team and yes, I do support them).
You probably do not like the accents you get here down in the Scotland part of Britain. Though nobody here actually has a typical Scottish accent. I speak quite formally and enunciate everything, so I sound quite posh.
I have a southern accent when I talk, but I hide it most of the time. cx
My boyfriend pokes fun at it a lot too whenever I'm talking to him LOL. I just go quiet and he haaaaates it. x3

Gotta say, I found today's Black Friday deals to be pretty disappointing. I was mostly checking Blu-Rays and video games, and the discounts weren't anything special.
Did anyone find a diamond in the rough, though?
I went to Walmart briefly with my cousins Thanksgiving night, because one of them just HAD to get a Steam card ... never again. I didn't bother looking at the prices, I was getting too anxious from the overwhelming amount of people in there to stay, not to mention I felt my butt getting touched as if someone was trying to pickpocket me.
I'm waiting for Cyber Monday to come along~ That's when I do my shopping. <3
