So if my calculations are correct I would have to pay 17 extra points

15 to 22 = 14
Total 29 rather than 16

Kakuna:
7 to 10 = 6pt
Evolution 10pt-6pt= 4pt
10 to 12 = 4pt
Total 14 rather than 10

But you guys should let me overlevel instead so the starting levels actually matter 8D...

Actually no. Since you received those pokemon at that level and not leveled them up there current level is irrelevant to the cost of evolution 29 for mareep and 14 for beedrill
