My family have all been really generous in regards to gifts as well, especially because I'm a twin and they have to give us equal amounts (although my parents gave me more money because I did better than my brother, which sounds harsh but he was okay with it). As arrogant as it sounds, whilst I did do well and I'm thrilled with my results, I could have done a bit better, because I'm a perfectionist and not getting the best grade in every subject saddens me. :(
