To explain, in Girl Scouts (or Girl Guides I've heard they're called outside the states?), you usually work on badges during troop meetings and outside of them. It's rare to not succeed in getting the badges you work on during the meetings, but sewing was one of them and I was bullied relentlessly by my troop members because I stabbed myself in the finger with a needle and then started sobbing like a five year old. To be fair having a huge needle in your finger is not a great feeling.
My mom has offered to teach me to sew, we just always ran into the little problem of my not steady hands. Maybe this summer I'll be able to sit down with her and learn.
Hand? Like a normal beginner?
