Pidgey Smiled nodding its head. It flew over and rubbed its head up against Dennis then turned back to its Mother. The Pidgeotto and Pidgey flew up in the air before they disappeared Pidgeotto dropped something.



The ball landed near his feet. Why Pidgeotto had the ball was mystery but it seemed to feel Dennis could be trusted. The pokeball had a small engravement on it. Maybe a clue to its true owner.

"Goodbye!" Dennis yells as the two bird Pokemon flies away.
Suddenly a Pokeball falls down from the sky.
"Huh? Whats this? A pokeball?" Dennis asks himself and picks up the Pokeball.
"May it be a Pokemon in it?" Dennis says.
Suddenly a Carvanha comes out of the ball.
"A Carvanha... Cool! You will turn into Sharpedo right? Sharpedo is awesome!"
"Carva! Carvanha!" the Carvanha says.
Carvanha looks happy.
"I wonder where the Pidgeotto got him from though..." Dennis says to himself.

With all obstacles clear Vi and Dennis were finally free to continue their journey. They picked up the pace hoping to run into the rest of the group. As they rushed along Route 1. A couple of the native pokemon appeared to see what all the noise from the Persian battle was about.

"Oh! A wild Ratatta! Charmander, are you ready to battle!?" Dennis asks.
"Lets try to catch it!" Dennis says.

"Charmander, use ember!" Dennis says.
"Char-char!" Charmander replies and spits fire at the Ratatta.
"Good job! Now, go pokeball!" Dennis yells as he throws a Pokeball at Ratatta.

Zenith did not have much of a chance to celebrate her victory. She looked up to see a Riolu running from something. Her green eyes widened as she saw a Kangaskhan appear and go after the Riolu, hitting it with their tail, flying into the air and hitting the ground hard. The Riolu then got up and charged at the Kangaskhan, firing an Aura Sphere at it.

"Hey, that's the Riolu we need to catch! Alright, Qeb, let's help out that Riolu! Get in close to that Kangaskhan and use Vine Whip, then when it attacks you, dodge and use Sweet Scent to try and calm it down!"

"Bulba!" Qeb said. He then charged at the Kangaskhan and got in as close as he could. He launched two vines from the bulb on its back and struck the Kangaskhan repeatedly with them.

The Kangaskhan growled slightly both in pain and irritation at the interruption and glared down at the small grass/poison-type. It then whirled around, trying to hit Qeb with it's tail.

Qeb jumped out of the way of the attack and fired a cloud of pink powder at the Kangaskhan's face. He then jumped back a few steps to give it some space.

Zenith watched anxiously to see if the Sweet Scent would work.

Brandon hears a rustling in the grass, Skipper does too and eagerly and excites tries to hurry to the spot, but Brandon held him back for a second, "let's find out what it is 1st okay little buddy?" He then asked the charmander "Are you ready?" The charmander excitedly responds by jumping up and down, nodding and yelling "CHAR CHAR".
"Alright then..."

Brandon took out a small bit of choclate from his pack that he was saving for a snack, he tossed it in the grass in front of him. Out ran the Mudkip...

*P.s I hope using choclate as a luring stretgy is allowed? I just want to make it clear, this is not the item choclate, it is stright human chcolate.

Fury and Rose's Charmander created a thick blanket of smoke, while Meg's Charmander...tried!

At meg's suggestion they started digging a hole in the sandy area. Rocky assumed that would trap the Tauros to make them easier to stop. "Meg's Charmander, Kaze got in and started digging like it was born a ground type.

"Looks like you friend wants to have a digging competition. Do you think you can beat it?"

Fury looked at Where Kaze was digging, then smiled and let out a delighted char as he ran over and started digging besides Kaze. Rocky watched happily for a few seconds, and then by turn became concerned, and then just plain embarrassed. Fury was NOT a natural digger.

The little charmander attacked the ground, scratching and throwing dirt up, but despite the huge amount of effort, his hole wasn't even a quarter the size of Kaze. He was eager though, and kept digging not willing to give up the digging competition. He kid of helped, but was not the star of the dig.

Fury's inability to admit defeat endeared him to Rocky, and Rocky knew that this charmander had been the perfect choice for his team.

Sweet Scene drifted around the angry Kangaskhan. The creature took it in finding itself seduced by its alluring power. It paused drifting into a gentle hazy.



Meanwhile

Mudkip picked up the scent of the chocolate and slowly poked its head out of the bushes. It came out further looking for more food.

Alice was glad they had succeeded in catching a number of the missing Pokemon. "Wow, a book. That's awesome," she said. "I'm not a great drawer, so I'm using my camera to capture as much about this region as I can."

Before she could say much more, they heard a loud screech and a Doduo appeared from the bushes.

"Okay Doduo, don't go running, hey...? We're friends. Friends of Doduo's, yeah guys?" Tyler said slowly.

"Definitely, friends," Alice replied carefully. Doduo were known for being nervous and flighty. She didn't want to move too suddenly in fear of scaring it off. They would never catch it then.

"What do you think, guys? Do you want to battle it, or should we try and tame it?" Alice asked. She knew they'd only have one shot at this.

Aster looked up at Alice. Unlike with Oddish, he was nervous of the large flightless bird. He seemed to be developing a dislike for flying types.

Zenith smiled as the Sweet Scent worked. "Alright!" she cheered. She then carefully, slowly approached the Kangaskhan, stopping several feet away to give it some space. "Kangaskhan, we're not here to hurt you. I just want to take this Riolu and bring him back to Professor Oak Lab. Please go back to your home and herd," she said.

Qeb stood next to his Trainer, watching the Kangaskhan in case he needed to act.
