As with the previous TCG articles, every Ice-type of that Generation will have a card picked by me, based on the art. Keep in mind that my choices are subjective, so what I like might not necessarily be what you like.

Vanillite
This portrays a nice scene where Vanilluxe is not normally found: near an ice-cream stall. You can compare the real deal with the food that is sold. Plus, that ice-cream stall looks inviting with that tasty-looking ice-cream!
Vanillish
I thought it was the Cold Storage at first, but it’s another scene in Castelia, but this time, it’s at the dock. Vanilluxe made a slightly different face from the usual, where it looks like it’s blowing something. It does look breezy, which is preferable on a hot summer.
Vanilluxe
We get a better angle at Vanilluxe’s split personality. It has both the silly look we normally see, as well as a fearless look that you don’t normally see. They don’t look like they agree with what to do, but they will surely work together when the time is right. It’s interesting to note that this family has eyes that make you think of James Turner’s style (compare Vanilluxe’s style to the characters in the first Trozei game: eyes are a start).
Cubchoo
This is a cute artwork that shows Cubchoo in a colourful place. What I like about it is how these flowers make this art seem colourful, in a place that could use some colour, because good plants make sights better.
Beartic
This is a fantastic picture showing what polar bears do: swim in water. Here, Beartic is splashing into the sea, and pictures of bears taking a dive are something of a beauty. It helps that the colour tone makes this even more beautiful.
Cryogonal
What I like most about this artwork is how the way Cryogonal is portrayed makes it look evil, since it does look a little sinister itself. Its glowing eyes and unusual mouth are uncanny, and the darkness adds to its unnerving look.
Kyurem
These two Kyurem artworks are great because they have shine from their respective attacks, making it look resplendent and powerful. The close-up is a nice touch too, making them look bigger than the average Pokémon.
