There is news about the next English TCG set for the United States. The next set will be called Roaring Skies. It will feature plenty of new Dragon type Pokemon and has the theme of skies and “the edge of space”. Sounds fitting for a set that is based on the Delta Episode from Pokemon OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire which featured Rayquaza and Deoxys.
It has been confirmed that this set will feature over 100 new cards. Some of these cards include: M Rayquaza EX, M Latios EX, Thundurus EX, Hydreigon EX, Deoxys, Dragonite, and Zekrom. There will be 11 new EX Pokemon and 4 Mega Pokemon included in this set.
Also included in this set are two new types of Energy: Mega Turbo Energy and Double Dragon Energy. It sounds like Mega Turbo Energy will be used for Mega Pokemon to help give them a boost. Meanwhile, Double Dragon Energy will be used for Dragon types. This will be the first time Dragon Types will receive a dedicated energy card.
This set, Roaring Skies, will be the English equivalent for the Japanese’s Emerald Break set which has the street date of March 14th.
Roaring Skies will be released in the United States on May 6th.
