Pokemon Rim #1 – Invasion, Day One by Pokemon-FR
At first I thought this said Pokemon Run and that totally would have worked as a title as well.
If you thought Wailord was huge, enjoy the laughter, because Torterra decided to say “screw you, flabby” and just become Godzilla overnight. Pokemon-FR also did a great job to ensure no cars were driving on the Golden Gate Bridge, as if I saw that thing roaring around and squashing everything in it’s path, I’d turn around also. Not like I’d want be in California anyway.

It’s always a loving pastime to see an artist feel “well, screw those original designs, I’m doing on my own thing” and everyone loves them! Darmanitan and Darumaka look absolutely adorable now. I actually like these a lot better. Darumaka doesn’t look as kooky and Darmanitan doesn’t look like a freaky, toothy ape with funky as hell eyebrows. Instead it just looks like he’s arriving to work on Monday morning and he’s not too happy about all the junk that plopped into his email over the weekend.

Aww, Sandile looks like a raccoon now! So much more adorable, that little trash panda. And then Krokorok is that lovable raccoon and velociraptor hybrid! Truly an untapped niche we needed! And ah, at Krookodile, it just becomes a full-on FREAKING DRAGON. Thank Cosmopoliturtle for recognizing that need we never we had for raccoons that become dragons that were originally sand crocodiles.

Someone’s definitely been working on the thighs at the gym!
The feet on a Roselia always baffle me. Like, how do you stand on a tip like that without always flopping over? And then why would a plant need a butt? I mean it wouldn’t need to… yeah, I won’t get into that. I dunno, this kind of thing strikes me as weird. Great art, but weird subject matter. In other words, DeviantArt on a totally usual day.
