A new event has begun in Pokémon GO. To celebrate the start of the year, a new Hatchathon event. From today at 21:00 UTC until January 15th 2019 at 21:00 UTC, Pokémon in 5km or 10km eggs will appear more. With this, you get double Hatch Candy and double Hatch Stardust.
With this, several new boxes are live:
Special Box – 480 Coins – 3 Incubators, 2 Lucky Eggs, 2 Premium Raid Pass
Great Box – 780 Coins – 5 Super Incubators, 3 Lucky Eggs, 3 Premium Raid Pass, 3 Star Piece
Ultra Box – 1480 Coins – 6 Incubator, 10 Super Incubators, 8 Premium Raid Pass, 8 Lure Modules
Several new raid bosses have also started to appear. For tier one, Magikarp, Makuhita, Buizel, Shinx, and Wailmer. For tier two, Sandslash, Croconaw, Breelom, and Mawile. For tier three, Alolan Raichu, Machamp, Starmie, Donphan, and Sharpedo. Finally, for tier four, Alolan Marowak, Tyranitar, Golem, and Rhydon.
Finally, a new Pokémon GO Safari Zone has been announced. This event runs in Porto Alegre, Brazil from January 25th through January 27th and is a free ticketed event. This event will include various Pokémon including Relicanth, which can’t be found in South America. If you aren’t in the Safari Zone, then the Pokémon will have increased spawns in Brazil and Psyduck will have increased spawns globally all weekend.
