The next Japanese TCG set hasn’t even been released but there is already news about a new set coming out in Japan. This set will be called Rage of the Broken Sky. It is hinted though the side products, such as the deck box and sleeves, that a Shiny Mega Gyarados will be part of the 80 cards that will make up the set. This could mean that M Gyarados EX will be cover Pokemon for this set.
Rage of the Broken Sky is the second TCG set in the XY Break block and will be released on December 11th, 2015.
On December 26th, “Battle Strengthening Sets” will be released. This mini-set is comprised of three 16 card packs focusing on Leafeon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon. The Leafeon set will focus on Grass and Fighting. Meanwhile, the Jolteon set will be focusing on Lightning and Fire. Lastly, the Vaporeon set will be focusing on Water and Psychic. Each set will also have an EX Pokemon. It is most likely that this set will be included in the English release of Rage of the Broken Skies similar to how the Hyper Metal Chain Deck was included in Phantom Forces. Both Phantom Gate and Rage of Broken Skies are around 80 cards so there could be a chance these cards will be included to help make the English release a little bit bigger.
