Alright guys, here's what I plan to enter for the sprites. It's a ninetales that's recolored as a kitsune with the japanese character for fire on its side. I need tips on what to alter or fix. so suggestions welcome.

Normally you dont really ask for suggestions on these kinds of things. You go based on how you feel. I think it looks cool.

I really like the sprite! Considering its quite a light colour overall, I feel like black outline might be a bit too dark in some places, like the side of the neck. It might just be me though. Overall it's great and I love the face!

For anyone participating in graphic art this week, our team does not have a colour scheme so feel free to use whatever colours you like :) I guess our slogan is "courage, honor, glory" or "for courage, honour, glory" in any order of those words :)

Well Kitsune are known for their unique facial markings. It's one of the ways you can tell them apart from a spirit or a fox, because they can't hide those facial markings when they transform, or at least in most stories they can't.

So do you think it's like a major thing I need to change or can I leave it as it is?

Really excited for the Showdown event, I think it is a really good idea to use some of the Other Metagames. I don't have expreience with many OM's, but I think I can manage to pick up some tips on the Smogon Forums. Always fun to expand the amount of metagames I am capable of playing, I like trying out new things :)
