Is it okay for me to use Parasect whilst the evolution is still pending approval?

My Team:
Arbok (Poison, Final)
Spearow (Normal/Flying, Basic)
Rapidash (Fire, Final)
Parasect (Bug/Grass, Final)

Both are Final, but Arbok has a type advantage (Poison Vs Grass). Arbok wins.

Round 4:
Vs
Both are Final, but Parasect has type advantages (Bug Vs Grass and Bug Vs Psychic). Parasect wins.
