Charmander burns the mushrooms on Paras' back into ashes, sparing it from the terrible fate of eventually being completely possessed by the mushroom! Paras is so grateful is surrenders.

Weepinbell versus Alakazam! Alakazam and Weepinbell had a chess match. Weepinbell ate the board. Weepinbell's teammates were so disappointed in Weepinbell that they disowned the poor pitcher plant.

Tangela versus Fearow! Fearow utterly humiliated Tangela by dumping a bowl of hot instant ramen on it. Tangela slunk home, swearing revenge but knowing fully well that there was little it could do against the massive bird.
