The best you can do on your own is inspire other people to follow in your footsteps. And in the long run that would make all the difference in the world. Seriously, though, I do hope you can fix at least something, and it's great to see someone who is into politics for altruistic reasons (I actually once met someone who decided to get into a political field purely for the purposes of making "lesser people" angry. I am not kidding)
