I've personally found online friends to be the longest term friends that I've had. xD I've pretty much lost touch with everyone from high school and uni but I'm just not good at keeping in touch if I'm not forced to see them everyday. :P

I've known you guys for many, many more years than most of my other friends. And I find you guys so much easier to relate to and your personalities are so much more fun and understanding. Plus I feel like we just do more fun things together.

Totally! I still have friends I met on Neopets when I was 12. XD And one of my really good friends who I met when I was 15. We've lost touch a few times here and there but we can pick things up again like nothing's changed. It's great. I think having common interests really helps to maintain friendships. I've never really had that with real life friends, mostly because I was too shy to share my nerdiness I guess. XD
