Because I can and you can’t stop me, we’re going to throw a random Pokémon into the random Pokémon generator, and we’ll see what the BEST ART OF ALL TIME FOR THAT POKÉMON IS! And then I poke fun at that art. For fun.
This week’s magical Pokémon is Granbull! It’s the bulldog Pokémon that somehow ended up as a Fairy type! I dunno about you, but when I think “fairy,” I think of a little person with insect/butterfly wings and trickery, magic, and all that stuff. Not a bulldog that has tusks like the orcs from Warcraft! I mean if that qualifies for fairy-ness, what’s to stop a monster truck from getting that!?

Here, we have an adorable and incredibly motivated Granbull that is demonstrating that feeling we get when it’s time to do work like scrub the toilet, feed the birds, and strap on a tutu and get in some darn good ballet lessons. And by golly, this Granbull could distinctly care less about that. This is exactly that kind of look everyone has when something stupid is on TV but the remote is too far away and we must face the turmoil of getting up to correct that or just lay there and suffer.

Gijinkas like this one can sometimes mislead you! Like if it weren’t for the ears or the GRANBULL! label, I’d think this was just some silly normal gal with a think for light purple colors. I love that grin, though! You could slap that kind of grin on anything and it would make it at least 40% better. I know this because I’ve done thorough research and other dumb nerd stuff to come to this conclusion and validate it for publishing. I’m only kidding, I make up these numbers all the time!

And here we have a nifty 3D render! I don’t know why, but it reminds me a lot of Bowser. I can’t explain it, but maybe it’s the eyes, or the snout, or eh, whatever.
He looks like he wants to either punch you in the gut or just start a game of Rock Paper Scissors. Loser buys everyone pizza. And just when you decide to play it out, jokes on you, Granbulls don’t carry wallets! Bamboozled again!
