Pokemon Center Store Opens in Paris!

pokemon-center-paris

Today marked the opening day of the Pokemon Center store in Paris. Junichi Masuda was in attendance for the opening, which attracted Pokemon fans from all over the world.

The store itself was relatively small and so entrance was limited and some people had to wait hours in line to get in. Inside was an art gallery and Pokemon merchandise for sale. By the end of the day, stock was running out and plush were limited per person. PokeBall pattern Vivillon was also available for download.

The stock list included TCG, Tomy figures, mugs, t-shirts and Pokemon plush. Unfortunately there was no Paris-exclusive stock, with everything previously being sold in Pokemon Centers in Japan; however, the tags on the plush featured the French names of the Pokemon. The following Pokedolls were in stock: Helioptile, Dedenne, Fletchling, Xerneas, Yveltal, Kalos starters and their first evolutions, as well as lifesize Kalos starters.

If nothing else, the great turn-out for the opening of the store will hopefully remind Nintendo that Pokemon has a huge fanbase outside Japan and that we would love more opportunities to buy Pokemon merchandise!

The store will be open from now until June 21st, from 10.30am to 7.30pm and can be found at:
Crémerie de Paris (Hôtel de Villeroy)
11-15, rue des Halles – angle 9, rue des Déchargeurs
75001 Paris / France
