I hope everybody enjoyed their Thanksgiving and had plenty to eat and be thankful for. City Championships start this weekend and will continue on for the next month and half so enjoy your day of rest and leftovers. This week we will be featuring a match from TylyrPlays where he will be using a Gengar EX deck!
The deck that TylyrPlays is using features Gengar EX and his Dark Corridor attack. This Pokemon can attack for 60 damage and poison your opponent’s active Pokemon. Gengar EX then leaves the active position to retreat to the bench. From there, different Pokemon can take the active position including the Trainer card Robo Substitute. That way none of your Pokemon can be damaged and your opponent can’t take a prize. You can do other mischievous things as well such as set up Dragalge who has the Poison Barrier ability to trap any poisoned Pokemon in the active. TylyrPlays also runs Dusknoir to move around damage with the Sinister Hand ability to help get knock outs on the bench or make sure he has just enough to knock out the active Pokemon.
