Do you want a chance to catch Farfetch’d or Kangaskhan?
The Pokemon GO Global Catch Challenge was just announced, which gives trainers the chance to earn rewards based on the number of Pokemon caught within the next 7 days.
For a combined 500 million Pokemon caught before November 26th, the Bronze tier prizes will be unlocked, which include double XP, 6 hour lures and “more Pokemon appearing globally”.
With 1.5 billion Pokemon caught, we also get double Stardust, and with 3 billion Pokemon caught we can make Farfetch’d available worldwide for 48 hours. East Asia will get Kangaskhan instead.
The rewards will unlock as the milestones are reached.
The first Global Catch Challenge coincides with the Pokemon GO Travel Event, where trainers from around the world have been selected to travel to Japan to play Pokemon GO!
