Pokemon Company International has just announced the next expansion in the TCG lineup: Pokémon TCG: XY—Primal Clash, will be released in retail stores in the US on February 5, 2015. The expansion includes Primal Reversions, such as Primal Kyogre-EX and Primal Groudon-EX. Also, a new feature, Ancient Traits, provides advantages to Trainers similar to Abilities. Ancient Traits will appear on 10-20% of Pokemon in this set.
All in all, there will be 160 new cards in this set, including 12 new Pokemon-EX cards (and a full-art rare Ultra v ersion): Mega Aggron-EX, Mega Gardevoir-EX, Sharpedo-EX, Trevenant-EX, Wailord-EX, and Camerupt-EX
Also, 31 trainer cards will be a part of this set, including some new ones, four full art rare Ultra cards, four secret rare cards, and two Special Energy Cards.
And of course, booster packs are available for $3.99 for a set of 10, or a theme deck for $12.99.
