We are hanging out in the Alola region for May’s Community Day. That is because we will be seeing plenty of Alolan Geodude.
Event Details
This event will run from Saturday, May 21st, 2022, from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time. It was also reveal that the special bonus will be 3x Catch Stardust and 2x Catch Candy bonus along with three hour Incense and Lure Modules. Full details for the event can be found by clicking here.
There will be also plenty of Alolan Geodude for trainers to capture. This will give trainers the chance to catch Shiny Alolan Geodude. If you evolve your Alolan Geodude into Alolan Golem then it will learn the Fast Attack, Rollout! You will have up to two hours after Community Day to do this.

- 1 extra special trade can be made during the event and two hours after the event (maximum of 2 for the day).
- Trades made during the event and two hours after the event will require 50% less Stardust.
NEW: Group Play Bonuses
Work together with other trainers to unlock additional bonuses in that location!
- If enough Pokémon are caught with help from a single Lure Module, the 3× Catch Stardust bonus for Trainers near the Lured PokéStop will become a 4× bonus for 30 minutes.
* This bonus will not stack with the base 3× catch XP bonus and will instead replace it for the duration.
Extra Note
You will now be able to gift a ticket for the Community Day Research Task. You can give a ticket to any of your friends in Pokemon GO. If you wish to give a ticket, tap the Special Research ticket, then tap the Gift button instead of the Buy button.
